This panel will explore how activists have used visual art, literature and film to confront the issues Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning communities of color face. Panelists:  Patrik-Jan Polk, filmmaker and Noah's Arc creator Aishah Shahidah Simmons, documentary filmmaker and anti-rape activist Laini Madhubuti, writer   Moderator: Qui Alexander,Giovanni's Room staff, coordinator of Holler!, the monthly open mic event, and much else!   The event is part of the Art Sanctuary's Celebration of Black Writing.
